Sew Many CabinetsPlusPROVerified business?

Brought my sewing machine in on 7/11/26 for a repair. Was told the repair man would call me in about a week with the diagnosis and then I could tell him whether to proceed or not. Did not receive a call in the allotted time frame. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and gave them one more week, things happen, sure. I called after the 2 week mark to check in, they said it was "in process", I asked about how long something like this would take, they said "the earliest would be the end of next week". Mind you, I have been the one calling, no one from the shop has called me. I called once again at the end of the following week like they mentioned, so I could once again check in. I asked what was going on, the employee basically said she didnt know, and when I mentioned it has almost been a month, then she put me on hold to ask someone. At this point apparently they "looked at" and “fixed” something on my machine but still had to fix the actual issue I brought it in for, never called me to let me know whether or not to proceed with whatever needed to be done or to update me. I called back a week later (a day shy of exactly one month since drop off) to try and speak with the repair man directly, he wasn't in. I asked for an owner, but the employee on the phone asked if she could help me insted. I explained it's been a month since my machine has been in, she put me on hold to find out more info. Still in process, plus the same info I was told the last phone call I made. I said cancel the order I was coming in today to pick up my machine because this was unacceptable. When I picked up, the employee said the repair man was waiting for another repair man to help him. Does that really take a month? But since it was looked at and this other issue was fixed I was unable to get a refund. No follow ups from anyone in regards to what was going on, even if they were waiting for someone else to check on the machine, just let me know. How long before I would ever get a call from them? Ridiculous. Communication would have at least helped this review be a 2 star. I will not be back.

I have not had the pleasure of visiting the store yet. However, since we moved to Oakland County, Ron, the repairman has come to service/set up my Janome Longarm sewing machine twice. Each time he was friendly and courteous! Very reasonably priced, too! I would recommend the store and shop to everyone!

Since Joann's closed this is my go to place for all my sewing, embroidery & quilting needs! They have a very large supply of thread, material, patterns & supplies! The ladies there are extremely helpful & very knowledgeable!
