The whole staff was caring, understanding, professional on all levels and sympathetic in every single way. They went above and beyond what they didn't have to do. I would 1000 percent recommend this funeral home and their services to anyone. We had been estranged from our dad for about 6 years (very transparent) and found out that he had passed away and sent to another funeral home by the uncle. My dad had clearly made arrangements for himself and wanted a full military funeral and burial. My uncle (signed himself to be beneficiary just a month before) sent my dad's body to another funeral home to be cremated and come and try to collect the beneficiary benefits from dad's policy. Sharps funeral home staff help me and my brothers, step in and retrieve his body from another funeral home so he could have the proper burial that he deserved and wanted. I cannot thank Sharp's Funeral home for all they did for us and our family to give my dad the burial he wanted. We are so very grateful for this place and we highly recommend this funeral home to everyone.

Est in 1929(?), the Sharps funeral home is better decorated than your local church! Fancy furniture and various framed articles of this buildings history line the walls. The wide open space will hold +200 people easily, but the parking is very lax outside. The road around is ONE WAY; they probably should get some signs posted. Anyway, next to the viewing room, they have a TV that will play photos and/or videos of the beloved with a gentle soundtrack. I am unsure whether they will play licenced music tracks with the viewing.

I highly recommend Sharp Funeral Home. Initially, I was worried as I had been told they are now corporate owned. That is incorrect. They are family owned and operated again. They gave me a feeling of home and community from the time I contacted them. They patiently guided me through the planning process and provided the support needed throughout this difficult time. I feel like Adam held my hand through every detail. He communicated proactively and gently helped me make extremely tough choices. He and Matt were both professional and compassionate through the entire process. Thank you to Chris and all his team.
