2 Stars Unfortunately, I would not stay at this SpringHill Suites Williamburg again. The hotel is clearly dated and in need of updating, and the overall level of cleanliness was disappointing. The carpeting in particular has reached the point where I did not feel comfortable walking around the room without something on my feet. The property simply does not have the clean, well-maintained feel I normally expect from a Marriott-branded hotel. I was also disappointed with the business center. I needed to print documents while traveling, but the printer was unusable because it was out of toner. More concerning was that I was sent next door experienced essentially the same problem at the Marriott residence property. For an amenity specifically provided for business travelers, having basic supplies unavailable for an extended period raises questions about how closely these facilities are being monitored and managed. There were also several issues with staff activity around the front of the hotel. At various times, three or four staff members would gather in the chairs outside the entrance during breaks, creating quite a bit of noise. On another occasion, while I was trying to get work done outside on the patio, friends or acquaintances of staff pulled up in a Ford Explorer with rap/hip-hop music playing so loudly that the bass was vibrating through the area. Guests should be able to use the outdoor areas without that level of disruption, particularly when it involves hotel staff or their visitors. I don't expect an older hotel to be brand new, but I do expect it to be clean, properly maintained, professionally managed, and considerate of its guests. Based on this experience, I probably would not stay here again. With several Hilton-brand properties located along the same strip, I would likely try one of those alternatives on my next visit.

I rarely give 5 stars across the board to non-luxury Marriott brands; however, as a lifetime gold elite member (7 years, 500+ stays), this springhill takes the cake for Springhill suites. Spacious, clean rooms. Nice clean pool. Amazing staff. For $212 on a Friday night in the summer, pretty good deal. Skipped on the breakfast but it looked and smelled really good. Very family friendly too.

We were here for 2 nights ( 5 of us including an 8 year old and 2 year old twins) the suite gave us a chance to each have enough room. There were 2 tvs, a great pool AND hottub, clean common areas, front desk was local and personable, and busch gardens and great wolfe are only a hop skip and jump away. Close to many restaurants and stores. Free hot and cold varied buffet style breakfast that saved me money daily and my kids thoroughly enjoyed!!frer ice cream for the kids and coffee for the adults. Would definitely come back!!!
