I purchased a membership and have been using the services for almost a year now, and I am extremely satisfied. Julia always recommends treatments that are specifically tailored to my skin’s needs, and I have noticed visible improvements in my skin condition. I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at SVIT Aesthetics was extremely disappointing and has had lasting consequences. I was a membership client and visited multiple times for facials and Hydrafacials, IPL… During many of those visits, Yuliia Afanasieva repeatedly pushed me to get Botox injections. Eventually I agreed to try this service on April 15 and she injected Botox around my eyes, including under inner corner eye areas, at my follow up visit on May 1. What concerns me most is that I was not adequately informed about the potential risks and side effects associated with injections around the eyes. Had I been properly advised about the possibility of complications affecting my appearance, vision, comfort, and ability to work, I would never have agreed to injections in that area. I had an important business meeting on May 6, scheduled video shooting between May 8-14 and my birthday was on May 16… so if she informed me about possible side effects I would NEVER agreed to have these injections. Following the second treatment, I experienced significant complications, including: • severe facial asymmetry; • swelling and noticeable drooping on one side of my face; • prominent under-eye bags and changes in my eyelids; • extreme sensitivity to daylight; • ongoing pain in my right eye that has persisted for more than a month. The swelling and facial asymmetry lasted for more than three weeks and significantly affected both my personal and professional life. What was even more upsetting than the physical symptoms was the response from Yulia afterward. At no point did I receive a sincere apology or acknowledgment of what I was experiencing. Instead, I was repeatedly told that I had been warned about the risks, which is not true . I was offered additional consultation and maybe a treatments to try to address the situation, but after my horrible experience, I was not comfortable allowing further procedures from this injector on my face. Btw I was never informed that Yulia Afanasieva doesn’t hold Texas medical license that allows her to do these procedures on her own. I was also frustrated by the handling of my membership cancellation. She told that me cancellation required an in-person meeting and additional steps signing another form. However, after I requested the membership and cancellation form and after reviewing the signed membership agreement, it stated that written notice was sufficient. This inconsistency further damaged my trust. I believe, the patients deserve full transparency, clear communication, informed consent, and honesty before the treatments provided and especially when complications occur. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Yulia Afanasieva.
