Terrible and scary customer service today. I visited the City of Industry TS Emporium this afternoon to buy a box of gloves. I opened a box to see it for size. It looks didn't fit, so I put it back. A pharmacy man worker was aggressively told me not to open it. When I explained I just wanted to see if it fit, he flew into a rage, started shouting the F-word at me, and falsely claimed I was abusing him. His attitude was terrifying and completely unprofessional. Should customers be verbally abused or sworn at by staff?☹️☹️ "Why do staff at some Chinese supermarkets—especially places like TS Emporium—treat customers so rudely? The workers lack basic manners. It feels like they were trained to insult customers rather than help them. I have experienced this terrible service multiple times.

STORE SOLD ME BAD HERBS AND INSULTED ME WHEN I ASKED FOR AN EXCHANGE! I purchased a SEALED package of Chinese herbs here using my OTC benefits card. You cannot tell if a sealed product is bad until you open and use it! When I used them to make soup, the herbs gave off a REALLY WEIRD, ALARMING ODOR and RUINED THE ENTIRE POT OF SOUP. I had to throw all of it away, along with the other expensive ingredients I used. When I came back to explain the situation and ask for a fair exchange, the employees COMPLETELY DISMISSED MY CONCERNS. To make it worse, one worker said they would ONLY REPLACE THE UNUSED PORTION of the herbs I hadn’t cooked yet.THEY TREATED ME LIKE A SCAMMER trying to get "free product," which was INCREDIBLY INSULTING. I bought a full package in GOOD FAITH. I should not have to take a financial loss because they sold a DEFECTIVE AND SPOILED PRODUCT! Giving a partial replacement for a major quality issue is a TERRIBLE, UNFAIR BUSINESS PRACTICE. Since this was paid for with an OTC health benefits card, merchants are required to follow STRICT QUALITY AND FAIRNESS STANDARDS. I WILL ABSOLUTELY BE FILING A FORMAL MERCHANT COMPLAINT WITH MY OTC PROVIDER, as well as reporting this store to the BBB. UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF AND AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

Normally TSEmporim offer fresh Chinese vegetables at the Nogales location. We got some vegetables from the city of industry location. The quality was poor and we ended up trashing it. The baby bakchoy had lots of brown spots on them we thought was dirt. But the don’t wash off and there was a lot of dirt in the vegetables. The Chinese broccoli had lots of holes on the leaves. Seemed unsafe to consume. So we trashed it. See photos. I will not get vegetables from this location ever again. Also beware that TSEmporium offers no refund or exchange once you leave the store. P.S. the owner responded with appreciation for the feedback but I wish they’d offer my money back.
