Terms of service
Last updated 4 November 2026
Blinx gives your business one page that does the work: call, WhatsApp, directions, bookings, enquiries. These are the terms of that deal, in plain English. Blinx is operated by Brownbook Limited, registered in England and Wales (company number 06572956, registered office 80 East Street, Brighton, BN1 1NF), and you can reach a person through our support form.
Your account and your trial
Creating a page starts a 15-day Pro trial. No card is asked for, and nothing is charged unless you add one. A trial keeps the end date it started with, and your Plan and billing screen counts down the days left. If you add a card during the trial, your first payment is taken on the day it ends, or straight away if fewer than two days are left. When the trial ends you choose: subscribe to Pro, or continue on the basic page. Nothing you built is deleted either way.
Paying for Pro
Pro is $5 a month, or $46.80 a year, which works out at $3.90 a month, plus VAT where it applies. Pro renews by itself each month or each year until you cancel. Payments are taken by Stripe against the card you give them. You can cancel any time from the app: your Pro features run to the end of what you have paid for, and then the page continues on basic. Your content is preserved exactly as you left it, and returns the moment you subscribe again. Downgrading never deletes anything. If you would rather take a break, you can pause Pro for a month instead: nothing is charged for that month, your page stays live on basic with everything kept, and Pro and its payments start again by themselves on the date your Plan and billing screen shows. If a payment does not go through, Pro stays on while we try again; if it still cannot be taken, your page continues on basic and nothing is deleted. If you think a payment was taken in error, please tell us through our support form and our support team will gladly look into it.
Your page and your content
Your content stays yours. You give us permission to host and display it, which is the entire point of the product, and nothing more. In return you promise it is honest and lawful: it describes your real business, you have the right to the photos and videos you upload, and it is not misleading about prices or services. We can unpublish a page that breaks that promise, and we would tell you why.
Changing or removing a page
The owner of a page can change it or remove it at any time, signed in to Blinx with the email address the page belongs to. If your business has a page you have not yet claimed, claim it from the page first, and it is then yours to change or remove. We do not edit, unpublish or delete a page just because somebody asks us to, by email, by phone or through the support form, whoever they say they are, because we cannot know who is writing. If nobody can sign in to a page and you want it removed, please tell us through our support form: we will send a confirmation email to the address tied to that page, and the page is deleted only if it is confirmed from there. A page nobody claims is normally removed once the time to claim it has passed, and can be removed sooner if its email address cannot reliably receive mail. A page we made for a business that has not claimed it also comes down if the business replies to our email asking us to stop, uses the unsubscribe link in it, or replies STOP to our text. If you are having trouble signing in with the email address your page belongs to, use our support form and our support team will help you get back in.
Bookings and enquiries
Blinx carries messages and booking requests between you and your customers. The work itself, and the agreement to do it, is between you and them. A confirmed slot in the diary is your commitment, not ours, and customer details you receive through Blinx are yours to look after: use them for the enquiry they came from, not for marketing lists.
The Verified badge and reviews
Verified means three things together: the page has been claimed, it is on Pro, and it is linked to a Google listing chosen for the business. We do not check that listing, and Verified is not an endorsement of anyone's workmanship. Ratings and reviews shown on pages come from Google and belong to their authors. We show them as Google provides them, and we do not write or edit them.
What you can expect from us
We work to keep Blinx fast, backed up and available, and we protect your data as the privacy page describes. Like every online service we cannot promise zero downtime, and we are not liable for business lost during an outage beyond what you have paid us in the past year. Nothing in these terms removes rights the law gives you that cannot be removed.
Deleting your account
Delete means delete. Your page, photos, statistics, bookings and account are removed together, immediately, and we do not keep a shadow copy to win you back with. We keep only the few small records the privacy page lists, such as records of payments. If you are paying when you delete your account, Pro and its payments stop at once. Backups are deleted after 30 days.
Changes, and which law applies
If these terms change in a way that matters, we email you before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you use Blinx from somewhere else, you keep any protections the law of your own country gives you that cannot be signed away; nothing here tries to take those.
