We had no idea what to expect from the cheese making class - and it was so much fun! We learned a lot, had a great time and got to take home the cheese we made. It lasts about 2 hours- beginning with a tour and history, instructions on how to make 3 cheeses, cheese making time, and wine and cheese to end the class.

The Mozzarella Company has made cheese by hand in Dallas’s Deep Ellum neighborhood since 1982. We make fresh mozzarella, burrata, ricotta, queso Oaxaca, goat cheese, and aged cheeses including Deep Ellum Blue. Visit our factory store at 2944 Elm Street to buy cheese where it’s made. Send handmade

We did the mozzarella making class for my bachelorette party and had the best time!! Mauricio was a great teacher. The class started with the history of Mozzarella Co and a tour of the facility. We then made ricotta, mozzarella, Oaxaca, and a mozzarella roll with olive tapenade. It was so fun to do, and the cheeses were delicious! My favorite was the Oaxaca- can confirm it goes great on homemade steak quesadillas. We then ended the class with a cheese and wine tasting! The whole experience was so much fun and made for a perfect bachelorette trip activity!
Took a cheese making class at the Mossarella Company with a group of lady friends this past Saturday. We had a blast! The owners and staff were funny and informative, making the class a special event. There was a cheese sampling and wine snack at the end. The location in Deep Ellum made this a fun cultural event. We took home our home made cheese and purchased some custom cheeses, too. Parking was abundant and affordable. I highly recommend the product, the business and the class.
