The Neeraj Ganga Wellness Retreat is an Ayurvedic wellness retreat on the banks of the Ganga in Rishikesh, India. Evenings include the Ganga Aarti, and the days follow a quiet rhythm that is easy to settle into. Stays run from 3 to 10 days, in Premium Deluxe, Premium Ganga View, or Pent House Ganga View rooms, and the retreat welcomes first-time visitors as well as guests already familiar with Ayurveda. Had an excellent stay at Neeraj Ganga raj mahal the staff was very polite welcoming and helpful the room was specious clean and comfortable the food was delicious the overall ambiance was peaceful truly wonderful experience
The pictures of Neeraj Ganga Rajmahal Wellness Resort look beautiful on Instagram but the actual experience was very disappointing. The rooms are extremely small. The bed feels kid-sized, and there's barely enough space to even open one suitcase. If you're travelling with more than one suitcase, you'll constantly struggle for space. They do not maintain any standard hotel parameters. Rooms are crooked, triangle ... Anyway the space fits rooms are marked. The resort is also difficult to access. The approach road is very narrow and tucked away inside, making it inconvenient to reach. Parking is in dingy dark space if u reach at night can't walk at the hotel Another disappointment was the drinking water policy. They provide only RO water in glass bottles. If you ask for an additional bottle of water, they won't provide one. You have to finish the existing bottle, return it, and then they'll refill the same bottle. It felt unnecessarily inconvenient for guests The room quality doesn't justify the price. Several fittings, including the shower and faucets, felt loose and shaky, giving an overall impression of poor maintenance. . Overall, this place seems to prioritize Instagram-worthy aesthetics over comfort, quality, and guest experience. I wouldn't choose to stay here again, especially considering the price.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay! We booked the 2-room interconnected family suite with breakfast, and it was perfect for our family of four. The rooms were exactly as shown in the pictures—beautiful, cozy, spacious, spotlessly clean, and very well maintained. The interconnected layout was ideal for families, the Ganga view from both rooms and balconies was breathtaking, and the jacuzzi worked perfectly. It was also my mother's birthday on the day of our check-in, and the team thoughtfully decorated our room, making her day extra special. From the smooth check-in, complimentary hi-tea and chocolates to the warm hospitality throughout, every little detail made us feel genuinely welcomed. What truly made this stay memorable was the overall experience. Attending the evening Ganga Aarti at their private ghat was peaceful and divine, while dinner at Rasika Restaurant with the beautiful Ganga view was equally delightful (they even happily accommodated our no-onion, no-garlic meal request). My father also attended the complimentary morning yoga session and absolutely loved it—it was relaxing and a wonderful way to start the day. The buffet breakfast had an excellent variety and everything was fresh and delicious. A special mention to the entire staff, who were incredibly polite, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. My entire family loved every moment of our stay, and we'd happily recommend this place to anyone looking for a scenic, comfortable, and family-friendly stay. We'd love to visit again!
