Thevar was an exceptional dining experience and one of the best meals I've had in Singapore. The degustation menu beautifully showcased authentic Indian flavours through delicate, intricate, and incredibly creative dishes. Every course was thoughtfully crafted and full of surprises while still staying true to its roots. The service was impeccable—warm, attentive, and perfectly paced throughout the evening. The restaurant also has an intimate, exclusive atmosphere that made my birthday celebration feel truly special. From the food to the hospitality, everything was outstanding. Thevar has easily become one of my favourite restaurants in Singapore, and I can't wait to return.

The only 2 Michelin Start Indian restaurant in Singapore offers a fantastic dining experience. It's a fairly small place - clean but not too fancy, which is made up in the food. The service was personal. As the dishes came one by one - they were lip smackingly delicious from start to finish. From the Wagyu idli to the carrot Pani puri, to the Yuzu Ishtu, and Lamb Biryani, and amazing dessert - every Indian dish was elevated and perfectly done. They even gave me a list of other Michelin star restaurants in the area to try.

We decided to book a table to celebrate my mom’s birthday the other day — and it was an excellent choice! The meal started off beautifully with three snacks, each one bursting with flavor and absolutely delicious. The fish course was fantastic — perfectly cooked with crispy scales and a delicious sauce that brought everything together. The lamb was just as impressive — tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. But dessert… oh man, it was truly memorable! From the first dessert to the very last bite, every element hit the spot — sweet, sour, refreshing, and beautifully presented. You could really tell how much thought went into balancing the flavors. We’ll definitely be back to try the new menu. Highly recommend!
