Thompson & Co Outdoors designs and manufactures premium corten steel garden products from our workshop in Bayswater North, Melbourne. Every piece is made by hand using heavy-duty 3mm and 5mm weathering steel, carefully cut, folded, rolled and welded for lasting strength and a clean, architectural finish. Our range includes corten garden edging, tree rings, planters, privacy screens, fire pits and water features, all built to maintain their shape and perform in demanding outdoor environments. Unlike lightweight imported alternatives, our products are made for long-term use in Australian gardens and landscapes. We also create burnished concrete products and custom outdoor kitchen islands, bringing steel and concrete fabrication together in one workshop. Proudly Australian made and backed by a 25-year weathering guarantee, we supply homeowners, landscapers, builders and designers across Melbourne and the Yarra Valley. Trade accounts, same-day pickup and delivery are available. Visit our Bayswater North showroom for a free corten sample and practical advice from our experienced team.
The boys were all fantastic. Ordered some edging back in March. Even though they were setting up their factory they organised my order and had it ready in less than 24 hours. Upon arrival they were a wealth of knowledge and assisted with loading everything onto my trailer. I’ve since install the edging, everything went smooth and the product provided is of great quality. Thanks legends.
The garden edging material/ steel is thick and of high quality. The pegs are heavy duty and Im very happy with all the products. The delivery was quick. Very happy with their service.
A few months ago we had our old existing uneven back garden path replaced with concrete by Thompson & Co. The guys arrived on time, they were polite and cleaned up before they left each day. We love our garden & I was very impressed by the care they took not to injure or damage our existing ornamental fig & climbing rose. We discussed concrete colours & what would look nice & we are very happy with the colour. The concrete dried well, no cracks, lumps or discolouration anywhere. We had the team install concrete borders along the edging of the lawn & Corten Steele around the Camilla bush & path. The curve & colour of the steele looks great. It is non slip, the path is flat & easy to walk or for our little grandson to be able to ride his little tricycle along it in a couple of years.
