Very nice museum with various artifacts about agriculture and local history. Want to see an old Chevy pickup, a 1906 ornate staircase rescuced from a locl home before it was razed, or a look at how people lived "back in the day"? this is the place to visit.
I could not ask for a better experience than what I encountered in going to the Laporte City FFA Historical Museum. The nominal $3 fee was more than worth the price of admission! The education I was provided by the expertise of Zach, Grace and Cynthia will serve me extremely well should I never need to interact or converse with anybody that was raised in the historically significant La Porte City, Iowa! This tour, which encompasses two destinations, adorned me with a wealth of knowledge and an unforgettable undertaking! MUST SEE! 👀
It may not be large, but they put together some real nice themes. They also change them up periodically, so you can visit over and over.last summer it was electrification of rural Iowa. Last week it was vintage cars.
