Erik and team at Woodbusters were fantastic. Take complete ownership of their work and final product. I can be very picky with things and Erik and team were always attentive. The floors we refinished were in a home we purchased and they had been abused, but were relatively newer wide plank engineered white oak hardwood. The final product turned out amazing. Zero evidence of the history of abuse the floor had been through. Erik was also a pleasure to work with … and not all contractors are, having been through a couple home renovation now over the years. First photo is end product. Last 2 photos are how they were before the refinishing. They have 5 stars on google, and I understand why.

We have hardwood similar to mahogany that was stained very dark. Over 18 years, there were lots of chips, scratches & major fading in some places. Erik & his team sanded out the old color, revealing a lovely auburn base with lots of contrast between the individual floorboards. They buffed out the scratches & chips then coated the hardwood (we opted for no stain). The walls & air vents were taped with plastic & special care was taken when sanding round the baseboards. They cleaned up every night & stuck to their original schedule. As an added bonus, Erik’s recommendation to use a contrasting color on the riser kicks in our livingroom turned out so nice.
