One of our favorite coffee shops in the city, and we try a new place at least once a week. The cinnamon roll recently got a big update and it’s now hands-down our favorite one. The pastries are delicious, they have fun seasonal drinks including an iced matcha with cold foam that my wife loves, and it’s a very cozy vibe inside. There’s a fair amount of seating but it’s not huge, so we’ll only stay to work when it’s quiet (though they do have a good number of outlets).

Well-cultured variety of baked goods that cater to my subjective tastes, that are well-made to my objective eye. Really solid first impression on me, visually, despite the pseudo-modernist deco, that's best exemplified by fake greenery. Eat their pastries while they're still fresh from the display case, and avoid their specialty coffees.
I've had the gluten free chocolate raspberry cake and the Nutella croissant, my friend with celiac disease had the GF choc rasp cake and the GF potato quiche. Everything was delicious, and my friend had no negative reactions to the food. Most of the GF options are separate from the non GF options. The cake slice is made with a chocolate mousse, I couldn't tell that it was GF from the flavor. I liked the mouthfeel of the cake, it wasn't too light, it felt substantial. The chocolate and raspberry flavors were bright and satisfying. The Nutella croissant was large and had a lot of Nutella filling. The croissant was flaky and stretchy with a light sugar sprinkled surface. I enjoyed it but it was too much for me to eat in one sitting.
