⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What an exceptional experience at Zomerlust Boutique Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail were outstanding and made our stay truly memorable. The rooms are beautifully appointed, incredibly comfortable, and offer the perfect balance of luxury and relaxation. The highlight of our visit, however, was dinner at SMEUL. Without question, it ranks among the finest restaurant experiences I’ve had, not only in South Africa but across all the countries I’ve been fortunate enough to travel to. Every dish was thoughtfully crafted, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavour. Chef Kevin and assistant Chef Nate are creating something truly special over the flames. It’s remarkable to see such excellence from such a young restaurant, and I have no doubt they’ll soon be celebrating their third plate. Their passion, creativity, and dedication shine through in every course. If you’re looking for an unforgettable stay paired with world-class dining, Zomerlust Boutique Hotel and Smeul should be at the very top of your list. I can’t wait to return!

An unforgettable stay! My husband and I had the most wonderful one-night stay at Zomerlust Boutique Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like absolute royalty - truly like a king and queen! 👑✨ The welcome drinks, beautiful room, thoughtful room service and incredible attention to detail made the entire experience feel so special. Nothing felt like too much trouble and the hospitality was exceptional from beginning to end. And the breakfast the next morning was the perfect way to end our stay - absolutely delicious! ☕️ Thank you to the entire Zomerlust team for making our stay so memorable. My family and I were lucky enough to spend two weekends at Zomerlust Hotel, including their opening weekend, and we thoroughly enjoyed both stays. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. They made us feel welcome from the start, and that level of service continued throughout our stay. The hotel has plenty of character, and the rooms and shared spaces are beautifully decorated. It has a warm, relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind and enjoy your time there. We also had a few meals at Smeul Restaurant, and every one was excellent. My personal favourite was the T-bone steak, which was cooked perfectly. The owners were welcoming, approachable, and clearly passionate about what they're creating. You can tell they genuinely care about the hotel and about giving their guests a great EXPERIENCE. We'd highly recommend Zomerlust Hotel to anyone looking for a weekend away. We had a fantastic time on both visits and will definitely be back. We wish the entire Zomerlust team every success for the future. If our two stays are anything to go by, we have no doubt that their focus on creating a memorable EXPERIENCE for every guest will make Zomerlust a place people return to time and time again.
