Barrett with Blue Ribbon Plumbing did an outstanding job on the plumbing rough-in for our shower project. From start to finish, he kept me informed about what he was doing, explained the process clearly, and made sure I knew what to expect along the way. The quality of the work was excellent, and I was especially impressed with how he treated the work area. When the job was finished, he left the site cleaner than it was when they arrived—which is always appreciated during a renovation. I’ll definitely be giving Barrett and Blue Ribbon Plumbing the highest rating. I’m looking forward to having Barrett back to complete the finish work once the shower tile is installed. Highly recommended!

I've used Blue Ribbon twice now. The tl;dr is: fast service, friendly folks on the phone and in person, they're willing to go the extra mile to help you out, they're good at what they do, and the price is reasonable. Now the details: First I needed them to remove a broken gas water heater and go pick up, install, and rewire the electrical (from panel to heater) to accommodate a heat pump/hybrid water heater on an emergency basis-- Nick was all aces on this task and very friendly, willing to answer questions, explain pros and cons and help me make the best decision. Alas, the configuration of my utilities "closet" in the garage plus the proximity of the HVAC unit meant that there were some questions about arranging the plumbing of the condensation line. Shortish version they had to come out again and when they did I had another task, to mediate a situation behind my washing machine involving hard water, frozen threaded connections, and very old washer hoses. Nick and his apprentice Isaac were fast and effective and I feel a lot better knowing those hoses, valves and connectors are all new and functional. I learned a few helpful tips about their membership service lowering costs, how to prevent algae in the lines, maximizing the efficiency of the hybrid water heater, and even what to buy or not buy from Home Despot. My only tiny wish would be that they wear booties over work shoes in the house and sweep up the dust behind and under the washing machine after their drywall and plumbing work before moving it back in place... but that's totally no biggie. 5 stars for Nick and Blue Ribbon.
